Responsibilities		Key participant in development and implementation of EBA&D strategy. Maintain thorough knowledge of business capabilities and weaknesses, customer needs, industry trends, etc. Develop own ideas as well as participate in the evaluation of the ideas of others. Lead in the understanding and presentation of financial analyses and assessment of financial metrics and performance estimates of various planning scenarios. Inform leadership team of financial implications of various scenarios. Work with other members of EBA&D and EBI leadership on growth of business through acquisition (or internal investments). Lead in the investigation, analysis, understanding and presentation of financial performance of various acquisition/investment candidates. Lead in the rolling up of financial performance estimates for proposed acquisitions. Leads in the analysis, understanding and planning relative to integration of financial management systems of acquisition candidates. Coordinate MRT and lead in preparation of annual operating plan/budget. Perform monthly revenue forecasting & variance analysis. Coordinate business segments and lead in maintenance of 5-year forecasts. Have expert knowledge in Forward Pricing Rates analysis, forecasting and strategy for contract pricing. Perform program specific financial analyses (IR&D, new business development, other what-if, etc.) Responsible for the monthly financial close and analysis process. Collaborate with MRT to evaluate and implement methods to reduce working capital intensity, control expenses, etc. Perform working capital analysis and reporting, departmental expense analysis and reporting and time-keeping analysis and reporting. Determine program actuals and perform EAC analysis and reporting.
Requirements		A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; a master's degree and/or CMA is preferred. Ten to twenty years of experience in pertinent manufacturing and/or engineer-to-order business environments, including defense contractor experience is preferred. Must have demonstrated ability to organize, lead and inspire a group or groups of business professionals to understand business challenges and implement smart decisions to accomplish excellent results. Successful M & A experience is also desired.
