Position Title		Manufacturing Technician   (Req #818)

Responsibilities		The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting manufacture of components including materials ordering, fabrication, in-process inspection and vendor coordination. The technician will work closely with procurement, manufacturing engineering and quality to ensure timely delivery of hardware. Duties include coordinating raw materials purchase, screw machine operation and maintenance, inspecting key features of in-process components, coordinating special process outsourcing, coordinating component final inspection and managing schedule to support component demand.
Requirements		The successful candidate must have good mechanical aptitude and experience in Swiss type screw machine operation and maintenance. Familiarity with Citizen Swiss type screw machines preferred. Experience with computers and basic dimensional and visual inspection techniques is required. Experience with on-screen editting CNC programs and insert type cutting tools are a benefit. Experiencee working with KANBAN's and Lean Manufacturing techniques is a plus. The candidate must have the ability and desire to think and work in a fast paced, schedule oriented environment.
