Position Title		Project Engineer   (Req #825)

Responsibilities		The Project Engineer is the technical lead on internal and external projects and is responsible for all technical aspects of the project/product from concept through develoopment, qualification and production. Duties include cost estimating, requirements generation and flowdown, technical compliance and risk assessment, coordination of project team technical tasks, development and maintenance of the technical data package and product testing requirements and methods.
Requirements		The candidate must have a BS/MS in an engineering discipline and a minimum of 5 years of project, design or related engineering experience. Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical and Systems are the preferred engineering disciplines. Knowledge of energetic materials, ordnance devices and/or missile/launch vehicle systems is beneficial. Required experience includes problem solving/root cause analysis, leadership of technical teams, technical writing and cost estimating. Candidates should have the ability to interpret and analyze mechanical, chemcial and/or electrical specifications and data. Specific experience with system level design and analysis, requirements allocation and flowdown and component specification is beneficial.
