Position Title		Research Technician   (Req #826)

Description		05/14/08
Responsibilities		Duties include building test articles, coordinating and performing engineering research and development tests, and documenting the results of these tests including the documentation of test results and specific assembly procedures used for new and developmental hardware. Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
Requirements		High school diploma with very good skills in assembling hardware and proficiency with test equipment and test methods related to explosive and energetic components. The successful candidate will be flexible and adept with a broad understanding of assembly methods and processes (measuring , soldering, pressing, bonding, fixturing, etc.) along with the ability to perform and document testing, a proficiency with general laboratory test equipment (Oscilloscopes, pulse generators, power supplies, meters, etc.) and PC skills including Excel and Word. A solid understanding of safety is of paramount importance.
